Hi!

My name is Valerie and I am from Quebec. I moved to Ottawa a few years ago and I went to University for three years. Right after University, I received a job at the Canada Revenue Agency where I have been working full-time since.

I have always been a very busy person between taking painting courses, drawing courses, and taking care of my websites. In October, 2008 I decided to take cake decorating courses as I have always enjoyed looking at cakes in a bakery and wondered how they were made. I only needed one class to understand that I really enjoyed it and that I would love to open a little business of my own to sell my cakes.

Today, I am a successful cake decorator in the Ottawa region, Ontario and I am a Cake Decorating Instructor at Micheal's.

My name is Simon and I am originally from the UK. I started visiting Canada in 2000 and moved permanently to Ottawa in 2006. Outside of my day to day work and playing hockey, I have always enjoyed baking and specifically enjoyed making and decorating cakes for family and friends. I am always challenging myself to attempt new things and improve on past adventures which lead me to take cake decorating courses with Valerie. I am continuing to expand my abilities and now have the great opportunity of selling my own work - something that has always been an aspiration. Creating a spectacular cake is a real passion - I look forward to working on your cake for your next special occasion.
